Transportation and Travel Details

Airport Information:

The closest airport, Orlando International Airport (MCO), is about 12 miles (30 minutes) from the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort. For more information visit the airport website at http://www.orlandoairports.net/.

Ground Transportation:

Shuttle Service
Mears Motor Shuttle provides round-trip shuttle service to the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort for $33.00. NCSL attendees can save $4.00 off this price by making an advance reservation. To take advantage of the discount click here to print a PDF of the discount coupon. You must present the coupon to the Mears agent when you arrive at the airport to get your shuttle ticket. You can also take advantage of the discount if you make your reservation online.

Mears shuttles run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, departing the airport approximately every 30 minutes. Be sure to make a reservation for your return trip to the airport at least 24 hours prior to your departure.

Taxi Service
A taxi from Orlando International Airport to the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort is approximately $60.00 one-way.

Rental Car
Hertz Car Rental is offering special rates for NCSL attendees. For reservations, please book online (you must use this link to receive the discount).

Transportation Between Disney Attractions
There is complimentary transportation to the Walt Disney World^® Theme Parks, a complimentary bus to the Downtown Disney^® area, and Downtown Disney^® Marketplace that departs every 15-20 minutes from the front entrance of the Dolphin Resort. Water taxi transportation is also available to Epcot^® and Disney’s Hollywood Studios™.

Parking
Parking at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort is $9.00 per day for self-parking or $16.00 per day for valet parking.
