NCSL hopes you’ll sign up for our Trendsetters! program, donate some items for our silent auction, and participate in the school pride day. Read more about these opportunities below.
Silent Auction
At every conference, NCSL hosts a silent auction to benefit a non-profit organization. Does your school have any cool gear or logowear? We’re looking for anything from school sweatshirts to hats to portfolios (and everything in between)! Bring it along to the conference and drop it off at the NCSL registration desk to be included in the silent auction. The auction will take place in International Foyer on Saturday, April 10, starting at 9:00 am. Be present at 5:00 pm when bidding closes and winners are announced (you must be present to win).
NCSL has selected Hope for Haiti to be the recipient of the money raised through the silent auction. For almost twenty years Hope for Haiti has worked to improve the quality of life for the Haitian people, particularly children, through education, nutrition, and health care. Currently, Hope for Haiti provides an education for 14,000 children at 45 schools in Haiti. Hope for Haiti ensures that over 95 cents of every dollar donated is used for programs that can help create a better future for the children of Haiti. Learn more at http://www.hopeforhaiti.com/.

Trendsetters! Program
Your chance to boast about your best program!
Does your campus take ownership of an outrageously successful program, event, or idea? Are there any activities, service projects, or theme weeks on your campus that you have had success with? Participate in the workshop to share your Trendsetters! idea, event, or program with others. Want to learn from others? Attend the Trendsetters! workshop!
At the Conference
At the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to present their program, event, or idea at the Trendsetters! workshop. Participants are encouraged to bring handouts or outlines of their program to share during the workshop. Workshop participants will rate the presented programs to determine the top Trendsetters! Top Trendsetters! will be posted on the NCSL website.
