You Are Your Strengths

Everyone brings different strengths and personalities to the table – some are uber-organized, others see the big picture.

Some bring triple-layer connections and networks; others have a perfectly timed and motivating sense of humor.

Knowing your style and the environment you need to thrive are essential leadership skills in themselves.

Recognizing others’ gifts and talents and helping others work from their strengths is priceless.

In this National Center for Student Leadership Trainer, led by Kristin Skarie, find the best in yourself and others to maximize the effectiveness of your student organization.

You’ll be challenged to:

  • Identify your top 5 strengths and determine the environmental qualities you need to thrive
  • Establish a team strengths snapshot
  • Generate ways to use each others’ styles and strengths to your collective advantage
  • Do more of “what’s working” to overcome what isn’t

Discover what will drive you and your team forward to success with easy tools and the techniques to uncover the gold mine that is your team!

Learning Outcomes

  1. Recognize your personal strengths and how they contribute to your organization.
  2. Appreciate different personality styles as strengths and assets.
  3. Incorporate your collective styles and strengths to build your team.
