We are NOT a Hazing Organization

At some educational institutions, hazing is a long-standing tradition.

For others, it's a deep-rooted problem.

More and more, responsible student organizations are coming to realize it's the latter.

If you're ready to tackle the problem of hazing in your organization, don't miss this important National Center for Student Leadership presentation.

Our presenter, Kimberly Novak, will help you understand:

  • Why hazing occurs, and where.
  • Why it is so intractable.
  • The signs of hazing.
  • The proper definition of hazing.
  • How to enforce anti-hazing rules.
  • The difficulties bystanders face — and how to empower them to act.

Hazing is a threat to your organization and your members.

Learn how to build a better organization without it.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Discuss hazing without simply restating organization policy
  2. Recognize signs that an organization is becoming a hazing organization
  3. Develop an organizational environment that does not tolerate acts of hazing
