Dennis Black is vice president for student affairs at the University at Buffalo. As an administrator, instructor, and attorney, Dennis speaks, writes, and consults on student-service-related issues and legal concerns for educational organizations and institutions. He is the editor of Magna Publications' Campus Legal Briefing newsletter. Dennis was named a "Pillar of the Profession" by NASPA in 2004. Dennis holds his juris doctorate degree from the University at Buffalo, from where he received the 1996 Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Professional Service.
