Dr. Kathy Humphrey

Dr. Kathy Humphrey is the vice provost and dean of students at the University of Pittsburgh. For over twenty years, Kathy has held progressive leadership positions in higher education. She has earned a B.S. in education at Central Missouri State University, a M.A. in higher education administration at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a Ph.D. in educational leadership at Saint Louis University. With a commitment to student success both inside and outside the classroom, she brings dedication and optimism to every challenge. "I am a leader who believes that everything can be made better," Kathy says, "making the world better by positively impacting the lives of students is my life’s mission." Kathy has traveled the country, speaking over 60 universities and other types of organizations for the past fifteen years.
