Darin Eich has a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin. His dissertation research involved studying leadership development and constructing a grounded theory of high-quality leadership programs through interviewing more than 60 students, teachers, and administrators from quality student leadership programs in higher education. Darin has also been a graduate student, teacher, and developer of leadership programs at the University of Maryland and the College of William and Mary. Darin has been an ILA presenter, LeaderShape facilitator, and National Leadership Symposium Associate. In his role as a consultant Darin has helped many colleges across the country develop student leadership programs and retreats. He is also a professional speaker and entrepreneurial leader, collaborating to start CollegeMotivation, ProgramInnovation, ThroughCollege, and BrainReactions, an innovation and idea-generation company started with a leadership program student that has gone on to be recognized by US News and BusinessWeek.
