The National Center for Student Leadership was founded in 1978 to provide leadership development opportunities to college student leaders and campus professionals from across the country and around the world.
We are best known for our bi-annual leadership conferences, the National Conference on Student Leadership, which take place every spring and fall.
Our conferences are the cornerstone of the National Center and are a vital training forum for today’s student leaders with more than 1,200 students from over 200 colleges and universities attending each year.
Each conference offers in-depth workshops on leadership topics chosen for their relevance to the skills young leaders need to succeed on campus and beyond.
NCSL offers additional training products for student leaders including the Certified Student Leader© (CSL) program which may be taken at one of our conferences or online. The CSL program is a hands-on training course designed to enhance personal leadership skills.
Other training materials available include online courses, CDs, and white papers. All these training resources provide fundamentals for both new and experienced leaders.
